Hello Gardening Friends!
This week we planted (wistfully) our last round of green beans, zucchini and our final Persian Cucumber; we harvested 20 lbs. of Heirloom Tomatoes from the Roof Top "Taste Test Garden", 15 Bell Peppers, our first Heirloom Eggplants, and the late stage tomatoes are setting flowers in all this recent heat. It's been an incredibly rewarding and educational Summer, and yet, it's time to plan ahead!
ANNOUNCING 4 NEW PLANTING CLASSES (in addition to our popular EarthBox Class)
Please go to: http://twodognursery.com/planting-class.html to see the Schedule, get full Class Descriptions and sign up! They're fun, informal and a great way to expand your gardening know-how. Classes are limited to 8 gardeners, so don't delay! INTRODUCING SMART POTS! |
We dearly love our EarthBoxes, as you know, but after Jo Anne's 1st-time garlic success, we wanted to expand into more root crops. So we're now proudly carrying the Smart Pot line of porous fabric aeration growing containers. They're easy, reusable, very economical, and fill in for those crops that just don't work in an EarthBox. |
