Dear Gardening Friends,   Spring is in full swing here at the Nursery, and our Market days are simply a blur!!  The Annual Spring Sale & Food Drive was a very fun and successful weekend. Folks came from both our Market areas and from as far away as Valencia and Orange County! Alex and I sincerely thank you for your continued support!     CLICK HERE TO SEE OUR 2014 SPRING SALE FACEBOOK PHOTO ALBUM EarthBox Give-Away Winner...   At the Sale, we presented the gift of an EarthBox & Black Gold Potting Soil to the random drawing winner amongst all who participated in our Tomato Survey last Fall.    Quin and his Mom, Michelle, have been loyal customers of Two Dog since Quin was 6 months old! At his first birthday party, Michelle gave their guests Two Dog Organic Herbs as parting gifts.  The EarthBox was designated as “Quin’s own”, and here are a few photos of him happily planting:       NEW AT THE MARKETS THIS WEEKEND!!   Lots of new thing joining us this weekend…   * Organic Tristan Strawberries – very limited, don’t delay! * Winter Squashes (Butternut, Kabocha, Spaghetti, etc.)       * Burgundy Okra * Walla Walla Onion and King Richard Leek Seedlings      * Corn!!!     Including the amazing Glass Gem Popcorn.      We are thrilled to report a 100% germination rate on the seeds which we grew, hand-pollinated, dried, harvested and are now planting.  Don’t miss this lovely variety! In case you didn’t catch it last Fall, here’s the video of our “Glass Gem Adventure!” * And in Herbs, we’ll have beautiful quart-size Tri-Color Sage and Stevia, along with Spanish Lavender, French Tarragon and LOTS of Basil!         That’s it for now.  We hope to see you very soon!!
